Our Mission:
The Undergraduate Finance Club shall provide an introduction to the Finance professions to any interested undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh. This organization will offer opportunities for networking and professional development, as well as the opportunity to gain stimulated real world investment experience. The Undergraduate Finance Club will also encourage and help students to explore internship/career possibilities.
Membership Requirements:
Membership into the Undergraduate Finance Club will be open to any University of Pittsburgh undergraduate who expresses interest in the field of Finance.
Who We Are:
- A collection of University of Pittsburgh undergraduate students with an interest in the field of Finance.
- We host numerous corporate speakers throughout the year who discuss their company, profession, career path, and job/internship opportunities. Past presenters include such companies as:
- Morgan Stanley
- PPG Industries
- Wells Fargo
- American Eagle Outfitters
- BNY Mellon
- PNC
- We hold an annual site visit to the BNY Mellon building in downtown Pittsburgh. This gives students the chance to tour the trading floor and to speak with different professionals in various job functions at the Mellon Corporation.
- We hold an annual trip to New York City in the Spring allowing students to see first hand the financial headquarters of the world. Past sites visited have included:
- New York Merchantile Exchange
- Smith Barney
- NFL Headquarters
- BlackRock
- An organization of over 100 University of Pittsburgh students allows the opportunity to start a great network of students with similar interests to your own.
